no groceries, running, and some prayers

Just a few thoughts tonight. It's random. Hope you don't mind.

+I'm saying prayers for people in the South tonight. My sister is in Tuscaloosa and is blessed to be safe with her car and home intact.

+Running has become something that I enjoy so much rather than dread as I once did.

+I didn't go grocery shopping this week and am getting by on what I've got at home and takeout. I may or may not be completely fine with this decision.

+I went shopping this past weekend and bought a few things at anthropologie and J.Crew. I'll have some outfit posts to share, but I definitely didn't stick with my April goal in that regard. It's taken me this long to share. Oops.

+I'm excited about a girls' dinner next week with some JL friends. We're going to a fun Italian place and I can't wait for the beef carpaccio and a vodka gimlet.

+Summer is coming. Quickly. And I can't wait.

+I'm going to try to DIY or craft something this summer; it may not be pretty. I'm nervous, and I don't even have an idea in mind.

Tell me something random with you. I know I've gotten some new followers and would love to hear from you as well as those of you who have been around a while.

Glad to hear your sister is safe!
Thats awesome to hear you are enjoying running. I hated it in high school and just started seriously running last year and I love it. I just it as a stress relief and enjoy that time to myself.

Something random huh? Ok...my hives are freaking out this week. Even a steroid shot and pills aren't helping. so I'm walking around scratching all day long. Not a pretty site. My neck is raw. Ugh. Depressing and random ;)

Love your randoms. So glad your sister is okay. Speaking of your DIY project my goal is too make at least one piece of clothing myself - we'll see how that goes because I can't sew at all.

I can totally relate to your randoms!
-Tornadoes just hit NC hard a couple weekends ago and we were so incredibly grateful for no damage
-Same with grocery. It's like we go weekly and still spend $100+. I get tired of going every.single.week.
-I can't wait for summer and am planning some DIYs too!
-Can't wait to see your Anthro and J Crew finds :)

I'm so glad that you are falling in love with running! I'm in love with it but can't get motivated! probably because I don't want to get shot at here in Jacksonville. lol Does Jacksonville sound as scary as I think it does to others?? LOL

AND I'm so happy that your sister is safe! It breaks my heart about the devastation in Bama.
