Wedding Wednesday Pins

I've been waiting a few weeks until I really started getting into this whole wedding planning thing to do a Wedding Wednesday post, but now that I have pinned a zillion things on my pin board related to weddings, I thought it would be fun to share with you some of my current inspirations in the process.

google
That's where I am in the process: getting ideas and inspirations. We haven't picked a venue, but I have some in mine to go visit in the next week or two.

Here are some of the pins that I've added in the last few days.

Piano roses look like peonies, but from what I'm gathering are quite a bit cheaper

I love the vintage feel of patterned plates, but I have no idea how to make that happen.

These are a few color palettes I'm in love with.

Eggplant

Violet

Gold

I adore the back of this wedding dress.

And I love the flowers in both of these pictures.

We haven't picked a date, but it will probably be July or September of 2012. I'm going to see a few venues this week and next, and I'm deciding on a wedding coordinator.

Any tips at this point in the process?

I really wish Pintrest was around 3 years ago when I was getting married!
I vote for a September wedding, that is when mine was :) We wanted an outdoor wedding and Sept weather is perfect here. Both months are fairly popular so start looking up photographers-the best ones go quick! we booked our 1.5 years out!

I think Pinterest is perfect for wedding planning. I just told my wedding planner friend this week that she needs to get on the site for inspiration.

All of these photos are beautiful!

I love this post!! I am still so excited for you! The purple and gold are beautiful! I also love the vintage looking plates, but not sure how to do that. I would definitely suggest a wedding coordinator with being a teacher and all. Definitely sit down and talk with them before you hire. They will be the person/people you will be working with over the next year and will become your new bff! Best wishes!

We have very similar taste! Lovvve peonies and am happy to hear that those roses are similar, but cheaper! I pinned that lace dress, too! Love!

I thought those were peonies. they look beautiful and if they're cheaper then that's perfect!

Love all the ideas, love the deep purple color, so pretty!

Have fun enjoying this time!!

LOVE everything!!!! Everything you picked is so classy and stunningly beautiful!! If you do a purple & silver color scheme you will find amazing deals on decor & DIY items at all the after Christmas sales! I ALWAYS see these colors in addition to the red & green around that time of year. Every penny pinched is such a relief... because nothing else wedding related is cheap! LOL. Michael's is having a Christmas in July sale right now but nothings marked down all that much - might be worth a look though!

Those piano roses are beautiful! I don't think I've ever seen them before, or I mistook them for peonies. Such a great alternative :)

Also, loving the dark purple. It is my favorite color and it will definitely be incorporated into my wedding one day! Just gorgeous.
