Catching Up

I'm back from Chicago, and I had an absolutely amazing time. I took so many pictures, and I can't wait to share. I just don't have the energy to sit and do it right now. Here's a sneak peak of what's to come in my recap this week:

 

We did tons of walking and I ran twice (which I can't wait to tell you about), and between that and eating fairly healthy most of the time, I'm sure I didn't gain any weight. My flight landed in Tampa at 6:20, so I didn't get to go to Weight Watchers today. I'm planning on hitting the grindstone hard this week to hopefully see a 2-3 (or 4) pound loss for next week's weigh in. That should get me off on the right foot to keep going strong into the fall.
Teacher In Service starts for me today. It's a rough realization to think summer is over and won't come around for another 8 months. I didn't get as much done as I wanted, but I'm trying to put into perspective that my job doesn't have to consume my life and I can fit so much {other} stuff into my life even during the school year. For now I just have to make sure I stay on track with my training with school starting back. I'm throwing around the idea of going to the gym before work...we'll see.

And most importantly for today: thanks to those girls that participated in my snail mail swap. I can't wait to see everything that you sent and received. I didn't end up getting a partner because there was an odd number, so I'm going to live vicariously through you.
