Wedding Wednesday: We Booked...
Because of my love for pinterest, I wanted to share my exciting news with you while also using the medium that has helped me organize everything dealing with my wedding so far! So, I'm linking up with Michelle today for her Pinterest Link Up!
First, we set a date! We'll be getting married on July 21st, 2012! That's one day after our 4th year dating anniversary!
Which means...we booked our venue!
We're getting married at the Tampa Museum of Art!Here are some pictures of other weddings from the museum:
And to me, what was almost as important as the venue was our photographer. I'm thrilled to have chosen Reid with 12-1 Photography. Check out his work here and his blog here.
We're thrilled that he not only provides two photographers and amazing editing, but we're also going to have a photobooth type of thing setup! He calls it a "wedding crasher" and has pictures on the blog. I can't wait to see those afterwards!

We also booked our dj, but I don't see any reason to show you pictures of that!
As for what's next...help! I don't know what else I need to be worrying about. What's supposed to be next? Cake, dress, invitations, flowers? What did you do after the first big things?

Yeay!!! It will be sooo beautiful! What about your Officiant? Another thing we did ASAP was make sure they were committed to the date. Ours is coming from south fl so we are also paying for he & his wife to attend the rehearsal dinner & wedding and their room arrangements. Also, Josh picked a rehearsal dinner venue pretty early on, there are tons of neat places downtown you guys could use! :)
My dress was one of the first things I worked on! Since I had it custom made and we only had a 5.5 month engagement I didn't have much choice lol.

So exciting! A few weddings I've been to have been in museums, and they have been gorgeous. Perfect in my opinion!
