{Dress}ing for the occasion

I've been eyeing new dresses in the last couple of weeks, and I'm fairly sure all the stores are aware of my (and everyone else's, I'm sure) need. I keep getting emails marketed with colorful maxis and minis that are appropriate for so many occasions.

I don't have a ton of money to spend right now on clothing, but with several weddings coming up, a beach trip next week, my bachelorette party, my honeymoon this summer, and a rehearsal dinner to dress for, I believe I just have to make room for a few new pieces.

I did a teensy bit of shopping around on literally two sites and I already had full carts (do you add to your shopping cart wishing you could really buy everything you want?). Here are just a few of my favorites.

clockwise from top left: 1  2  3  4  5  6

I like these dresses because I think they're good for multiple occasions. I think depending on how you put together your outfits some could be work appropriate and some could be dressed up and down depending on the shoes. I also feel like they could be accessorized differently so that I could get a couple of wears out of them in the same season. What do you think?

I'm planning on heading to F21 and H&M in the next few days to see what they have right now, but if I splurge on any of these I'm thinking it will be the bottom middle. What do you think of them? What's your favorite? Have you seen anywhere that has cute and inexpensive dresses that I should check out before I head to the beach next week?

I love the one on the bottom left. I will second the comment above about tjmaxx - also Ross has really cheap dresses and some of them are super cute!

Can't wait to see you Friday!

hhmmm, oddly (and I say oddly only cause they're normally not my style) I like them all. I think my favs are the top right and bottom left..more the bottom left, but the top middle I really like too!

Hope you find some cute stuff when you go shopping. :)

I looooove the one on the bottom left. But also the one you like best and the very first one. My goodness, it makes me want to go shopping with no regard for money or how things fit me. haha!

I love the one on the top right. I've never really gotten into the maxi dress thing, but the one on the top left is super cute too!

As a thank you from one of our work colleagues/good friends, I got sent a $500 Visa giftcard (!!!!!!!) for helping their office out. I just CANNOT take it though. It's been sitting on my desk for a week now. I plan on using it when we're all together for our conference, for a great dinner out WITH them. Believe me... While at the mall this week, I was daydreaming SERIOUSLY how awesome it would be if I could just buy every single cute dress out there. H&M had soooo many cute outfits. And I 'bout died in Francesca's. I honestly I had walk out of that store because I wanted everything. Hahah!

I LIVE in dresses in the summer, and this is a beautiful collection of pieces! I just ran across your blog and you have excellent taste! I can't wait to follow along :)

PS: The dress you picked (bottom middle) is my favorite too!
