February/March Go for the Goal!

Before I start with my February goal follow up, thank you thank you thank you for your honeymoon tips! You have no idea how helpful they are! We're taking them all into consideration, and I'm working on writing you each back. I can't tell you how thankful I am to have a community of people who will pour out the help you did on my last post.

Now for my February goals. First, I just want to remind you that I was pretty successful with my January goals and I worked hard very hard through the whole month to achieve those.

In February, though, I didn't print these out and I didn't post them anywhere, so I failed on many of them because they weren't right in front of me. It reminds me that I need to see these on a regular basis to keep them fresh in my mind. And that's my major tip for today! Keep your goals somewhere where you can see them daily!
I didn't make a pretty graphic with this one...I was too unsuccessful to pretty up failure. I have had so much on my plate this month between work and wedding planning a life, but I know that's not really an excuse. But can I please tell you that wedding planning magically is like a vacuum for time. Where does it even go?!

In list form.
~I didn't save $1000. I saved about $200-$300 not including a big wedding purchase and extra money I put towards student loans. If you count that I didn't save anything.
~I definitely had Starbucks way too frequently still...
~And I went 2 days without spending money.
~I didn't eat vegetarian
~I didn't lose 6 pounds
~I did work out 5-6 times per week!
~I registered for two more race series (this could also explain the not saving money...)! One is this weekend!
~I did PR in my half marathon on 2/12. 1:57!
~No new vitamins...No organizing closet...probably could still be more thankful...still not always putting clothes away...Not 20 posts...Not 2 outfit posts...
~But I have been really content with everything I've posted!

So this month was a fail on what I thought would happen! But I have to tell you that it has been a success in so many ways! I want to share those successes with you aside from all the running success above!
1. We created Save the Dates and mailed them.
2. We picked a florist.
3. We did 2 cake tastings.
4. We've really gotten the ball rolling on honeymoon planning.
5. Me and a friend planned my bachelorette party! (In Vegas...she's surprising me with pretty much everything from there).
6. I've had some exciting stuff going on at school.
7. I was accepted as a FitFluential ambassador!
8. I made some necessary doctor's appointments for myself (I feel like that is a real accomplishment with the amount of time it takes to create doctor's appointments).

I'm going to post my March goals in a separate post later today. It's late, I'm tired, and I want to put some more thought into what I want to focus on for March! I think I'm going to make fewer goals so that I can focus more and be sure to set myself up for success!

Link up your goal recaps and goal posts below and grab a button at the left!

What would your focus or your word be for March?

I totally want to do my bachelorette party in Vegas too! Just gotta get engaged first :)

How much total weight are you wanting to lose? I think you look great!

Good luck with your March goals! I like how you set them monthly, much more attainable that way.

You are so organized & cute .... I am taking notes :)

Doctor's appts are a hassle - I agree. I feel good about myself when I make them too!

Can you tell me where/how you made that beautiful piece of work (March to-do list)

Glad you're focusing on what you DID accomplish! Omg-- I had no idea there was so much to do with wedding planning. It's crazy. It's a miracle that you got done all you did! I'm so excited for you on your half marathon. What an accomplishment!! :)

My focus word for March is PUSH. I need to push myself to workout harder, study more, and be less boring. I'm also pushing towards Spring Break haha. ;)

I seriously need to sit down and plan my goals. How long will this linkup be open? I need y'all to hold me accountable!

Congrats on becoming an ambassador! That is so exciting! A b-party in Vegas sounds awesome! Oh and Starbucks, I swear they put crack in that stuff! I always spend way too much money there! (hopefully you know about their gift card deal and earn a free drink after 15!)

Hey, even though you didn't really meet the goals exactly, I still think you accomplished a whole heck of a lot. Way to go!

Congrats on your PR! It still sounds like you've been really productive! And way to own the fact that you didn't accomplish all of your goals. I think it's awesome that you're even putting it out there!
