{swim} suit up!
After literally not having bought a bathing suit in 5 years (I wish I was kidding), I've realized I'm in serious need of a few to fill in a complete void. Last week I went to Anna Maria Island, so I started searching for suits at the very last minute. With the beach trip, a bachelorette party to Miami I'm going on this month, my bachelorette party to Vegas in May, tanning time for the wedding and a wedding in Hilton Head in June, and our honeymoon in July (which we've booked...I'll tell you where soon), there is a great need for bathing suits.
I thought I'd put together some of my favorites I've found so far so you could look into them and the brands. I've purchased and LOVE the top three (I had some gift cards and Nordstrom notes that enabled me to purchase suits more expensive than I would have otherwise), but I'm seriously considering purchasing one or two more. What do you think of the bottom three? My sister said she wasn't so sure about the zebra one...but I love it! And the two on the left are reversible!
I found the Maaji through the new Tone It Up Beach Babes DVD. Sofia by Vix, Vix, and Luli Fama are all sold at Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus as well as on their own websites (that I linked to). And of course the cute striped one is from Target.
What are your favorite brands for swimsuits? I've found a few more I like at J.Crew that I forgot to include above as well.
I have got so much to catch you up on! I will probably be posting over the weekend, because I'm excited about having a long weekend and want to use it to catch up!

Love that Vix one. So cute! I usually get suits from Target, J.Crew, or VS.
Anthropologie always has my favorite bathing suits, but they are so expensive! The malls (Macy's, Nordstrom, etc.) are my next go-to b/c of the variety. I saw your tweet about how awesome it is to shop for bathing suits after working out so hard--good for you!!! That's something to be proud of, as I am pretty sure bathing suit shopping is one of the most hated activities for all women, haha.
I got a couple cute ones at Target last year that I like. My favorite is a Ralph Lauren from several years ago--I think I got it at some Macy's. I am frustrated that I can't work out with my broken foot . . . I need to get in gear for bathing suit season!!
I am terrible with swimsuits. I haven't bought a new one in four years AND although I could, I am weird about wearing two-piece suits. The one I have is a black "vintage" one piece from Target. Ugh. I seriously need to use your post as inspiration!

I love all of these! I am horrible about buying swim suits too. I have like 5 or 6, that I've had forever. I am very picky about the way they fit. Last summer, I sported a strapless one, I love the no tan line thing!
ooooh, LOVE the Vix one! Their suits are such high quality, I have a few. Love them. I bought a few mix 'n' match pieces of *L Space ones for this year, I was feeling the new fringe look this season, I guess! Posting a couple pics of them on my blog tonight, I think. I also bought a pretty white crochet Lisa Maree one that Kourtney Kardashian wore on the cover of Shape last year, cost me a pretty penny but I love it! I also always love VS for cheaper suits! Much more affordable.
Oh yeah...and the TIU girls make those Maaji ones look soooooo great!!!
I love all of these!! I have such a hard time with swimsuits. I usually have good luck at Target though. I can mix and match and they have XL tops, which are hard to find sometimes! I find good deals through Venus too!
