I spent months on this blog talking about how much I needed to organize my closet. Then, at the beginning of this month, I finally did it! I now have things organized in groupings that make sense, and when I get up in the morning it's like walking into a department store. It's making me put so much more thought into getting ready, and it's so much easier.
I wanted to share two recent outfits. The first one shows off my new leopard flats and leopard belt. The first full body picture is how I wore the outfit, and the second one is how I figured out it looked better after I got home and started playing with outfits. Oops. I guess you live and learn.

Top & Sweater: JCrew (old)
Skirt: JCrew (it's on major sale)
Belt: LOFT (it was only $9 in the store)
Earrings: Stella & Dot
Shoes: Steve Madden
A good problem to have is having lost some weight between wedding preparations and surgery and figuring out what size I wear. Many of my clothes are slightly too big (like the skirt and shirt in the picture above), which I don't mind in the least. It's just that things look a bit off every now and then. If I don't stop late night snacking, though, that'll change quickly.

sweater: Old Navy
pants: JCrew
necklace: ebay
shoes: Tory Burch Revas (really old)
On Monday I wore my new Old Navy sweater with some super old J.Crew pants. So super old that I did decide it was time to upgrade to some new ones. I literally think these things have been around 5 or 6 years. That's quality right there. I hope they still make them like that.
I really liked this outfit, but next time I think I'll make the shoes neutral too. And maybe next time I'll take pictures not on the iphone and not in the mirror. Or maybe I won't. We'll see.
Headed to the doctor tomorrow morning at 8:30! I'm looking for clearance to workout! I can't wait! Keep your fingers crossed for me.

LOVE the first outfit! I see so many bloggers wearing the no. 2 pencil skirt. I need to see the measurements to see how long it would be on me. Is it comfortable to wear all day?
I seriously want all your clothes and your new body makes it easier and makes you more confident to take pics ( my guess) so proud of your accomplishments and you motivate me!

For the record, I love the bright colored shoes with the neutral sweater. But then again, I'm all about brightness. :) You look really cute! That tank in the first outfit is so pretty. I bet the other teachers are envious of your style!
