Letters and Fancies this Friday

Dear Friday, it's good to see you again. I'm not saying I'm not glad you're back, but I have to say you came quickly this week. Thanks for that. Dear thank you notes, I'm almost done writing you! Too bad I haven't mailed any of the ones I've written. They're sitting in piles on the counter waiting for stamps. Why aren't stamps free? Dear Tim, sorry you have to work this weekend. I'm a little sorry for you, but I'm really sorry for me. I miss you when you're not here on the weekends. Dear Thursday run, 3.1 miles straight running sub 10 minute miles one week after having to stop after 2.75 miles and walked four times is a pretty big gain. Let's keep gaining this week! Dear seven miles on Saturday, I'm a little nervous for you, but I'm excited that I'll meet one of my goals for September!

Dear L'Oreal Elnett, you're making wearing my hair down at school all day a real option. I love you for that. Dear dailymile, are you glad I'm back? You sent me an email that sounded like you were! I'm glad to see some graphage instead of just flat sadness. I'll have more to add to you on Saturday and Sunday!

Dear followers and readers, thank you for all of your sweet comments lately. I really love having you here and hope I show my appreciation enough. Thanks also for entering my giveaway for a May Book! I'm glad you're excited about it. I am too. I love my planner! Dear fall racing season, I've got my eye on you. I'm picking my targets and will be signing up in the coming week or two! Get ready. There will be at least a couple of half marathons and a few 10 and 15k's. I need those to get through my marathon training long runs! Dear Friday's Fancies, I've missed you! I decided I wanted to play again!

This week {av} picked Football Frenzy as the theme, so I had to bite! Although I'm a big Bama fan, their game this week isn't a big one. I decided to show my bulls spirit (since my undergraduate alma mater doesn't have a football team)! I would like to pen this outfit "50 shades of green". Although they're not the same and don't really match, it's more the look I was going for. And I love those Karen Walker sunglasses.

I have this Old Navy dress in another color and love it, and since green and gold are the USF colors, I've got it covered with the accessories, shoes, and dress all put together. Putting together an outfit like this makes me wish we dressed up for USF games like the girls at SEC schools do. Maybe one day I'll try to start the trend at my tailgate.
