sights, tastes, and smells

This weekend was a good one, but it went by too quickly as they often do.

A few of the highlights included those seen above. I was happy to receive my Ulta purchases, a few pieces I picked up from Old Navy, and some new Revas and an eggplant Longchamp bag (I had gift cards to this store that I had been saving for over a year and these were the only two items I had considered constantly because they will last a very long time and will always be in style).
I painted my nails in the new Stylenomics from Essie, and though I know it's green and mentally think green when I see it, it's pretty much black. I only put on two coats, but I read a few other places that people found it to be much darker in person than the bottle looks online. Oh well. 
We went to a party for the out of town USF game (hence the green nails), and I baked the chocolate chip cookie Reese's cup brownie bites from Pinterest. They were delicious and got eaten up. Sunday I woke up to a thunderstorm early, and I couldn't go back to sleep. I cleaned a bunch and started laundry before making coffee at home. The rain must have been really bad, because it's a rare weekend when I don't head straight out the door for Starbucks.
How was your weekend? Anything big on the books for you this week? I'm excited to go to the doctor on Thursday and hopefully get cleared to workout again (mostly I care about the running...I'm going crazy)!
