Every Friday at 3:45 as I'm leaving school, I think about how much I need the weekend to be here. I also revel in that moment. There's nothing that feels quite as wonderful as the end of the day on a Friday. I thought weekends were great when I was in college, but I really had no idea.
This weekend was somewhat eventful, and it was nice to spend more time with Tim than we usually get together on a weekend.
Friday after school and detention duty, Tim and I met up with some friends at Skipper's Smokehouse. I though it was pretty cool that Man V. Food had named it "best sandwich". I didn't have that sandwich, but their other foods were tasty, albeit heavy and not intended for the healthy eater. I also though it bizarre that they serve everything in and on styrofoam with plastic silverware. I guess they don't want to do dishes, but it seems so wasteful. Oh well, it was a fun night.
Saturday was my long run, and an amazing one it was. I already recapped it on my weekend workout recap. The rest of Saturday I watched football, Tim got off work a little early, and we were able to enjoy a Saturday night hanging out.
Tim had the day off work Saturday, so we went to an early breakfast at First Watch before using the day to watch NFL and get stuff done. I returned my undecided lululemon top and bought the one above. I like it a lot, even though the back isn't as cute. The silverescent material is so light and wonderful. Even though lululemon is expensive, the clothes hold up well and I don't have any complains. Plus they back their products. Do you buy from lululemon?

Hello! I'm Meghan. Around here you'll hear about my love of running and triathlon, my attempts at being stylish, and a little about life in general. I started running in 2011 with Couch to 5k and completed my first Ironman in 2014. It has been quite the journey. I'm always attempting to hone in on and update my style, so I document those attempts as well. Look around a little! Thanks for stopping by!
