Thought Stream

My brain is complete mush this week, so excuse me for not being elaborate with nice, thoughtful blog posts. My thought stream looks something like this: "pace, marathon, Sunday, five days, water?, hydrate, carbs, 26.2 miles, expo, what do I pack?, GU, pace, run, training, weather, temperature, shoes, what the heck am I doing?, training plan, am I prepared?, AHHHH!" And then it repeats.

I am trying not to talk about it to every person that I come into contact with, but if I go an hour without mentioning something I get a bit of verbal vomit and just utter to the air "marathon". I'm in a current state of frenzy, excitement, nervousness, confidence, and excitement again. I'm trained for this, and in five days I'm going to do it!
I always talk about running for bling, and while I can't wait to earn this bling, I have to say that in this case I'm just as excited about the journey, the experience, and the finish line.

I'm planning on writing a whole post about goals and thoughts going into the race in a more structured way, but at this point I'm just trying to process through exactly what my thoughts, plans, and goals are.

Disney does text, twitter, and Facebook based tracking, and while I'm not sure if anyone is interested, I always love tracking runners of the blogs that I read. If you wanted to track me by text, because I'm not going to have it posted to twitter I don't think, you can click here. You just input my last name, which I'm happy to share if you're interested. Just email me or comment and I'll share.

Oh, and big news!
Repeat National Champions! Roll Tide!

I was just watching coverage of the Singapore Marathon (random.... but we have a million sports channels and I just happened to see it on the guide) and now I'm in a "super excited about running" mood. I can only imagine what you're feeling!!!!
I'd track you, but I doubt it would send to my English phone :(

haha don't you just love when you catch yourself talking about running and you look at the other person's face ... whoops lol...that's why I choose to talk more to runners lately - so I'm not too-too crazy ;) Can't wait for this weekend!

Ahhh I have the exact same thoughts rolling through my mind constantly. So much nervous/excited energy is just building up! I would love to track you!!! It's always fun to see how fellow bloggers do in their races...especially since we're both running our first fulls on the same day :)

Totally understand :) I have the hardest time not looking like a crazy around nonrunner friends! I can't even imagine how I will be when my 1st marathon comes up!

I have so many people on tracking :) Just watching your journey and training and knowing you makes me excited and I'm not even running!

I'm so jealous of your Disney Marathoning! I dream of running that race--maybe I'll even make it my first full next year.

Your blog is gorgeous, and shoutout to the college football scene--even though I'm still angry about that preseason game at cowboy stadium... it was a well deserved win for Bama :)
