This weekend, I...

I mentioned on Friday (if you missed that post you missed a great giveaway that you must go back and check out) that my goal for the weekend was to dominate the laundry. I would say that we tied. There was no domination, but it is all either folded, in the dryer, or in the washer. I have to run the dryer twice for every load of laundry that is in there. Is it broken? What could be the problem?

But aside from my laundry (though it felt like it dominated the weekend), here's what we were up to. This weekend was wonderful because there was a "we". Tim and I got to do quite a bit together, and we enjoyed our time a lot! Friday was a rest day so when I got home I suggested Mexican. Tim obliged, and we headed out to an early Mexican so that I could get to be early for my morning run.

On Saturday...
...I met Tori and Meg at Clearwater Beach for a long run. I found out the best thing about my runningskirts top. Not only does it have thumb holes, but the fabric also folds over and becomes like gloves! It was really chilly and windy out on Saturday morning, and I ended up leaving these little sleeve things on for almost all of the run.
Though we had planned to go to the Saturday Morning Market after the run, we ended up going to breakfast at Maggie Mae's instead. It was a bit stormy looking, and we didn't think the market would go on. We had a great time at breakfast, and I enjoyed my turkey sausage and egg white omelette. And then for the rest of the day I did house stuff (though now for the life of me I can't tell you what that entailed).

On Sunday...
...Tim and I got up early and went on a breakfast date to First Watch. Two dates in one weekend! It's so nice to spend time together. Being married isn't always rainbows and daisies, but it's weekends like this that remind me of all of the little things I love about Tim and all the reasons I'm glad we'll spend forever together. That's not to say it's not true all of the time, but sometimes the hustle and bustle of daily life can push those things to the background of life.
I had promised myself that I would get something yummy and wouldn't worry about calories. I always get the egg white omelette with no cheese and dry toast, and today I just let myself have what I wanted! I got the avocado, bacon, and tomato hash, and it was so delicious and super flavorful. I didn't change it at all, as I loved everything on the menu. Yum! I will definitely be getting this again next time we go.
And because you totally wanted a visual of the laundry, here's part of it all folded on the counter neat and clean and ready to be put away. It's still there, and I'm going to force myself to finish it before I go to bed tonight. I have two loads left to fold, and all of it will be put away. It was a ton of work.

In addition to the laundry, I put a bunch of stuff on eBay. I listed all the items I've been meaning to for the past few months. If you're interested in seeing what I listed (jewelry, a couple of bags, and some shoes), let me know or email me and I'll send you a link to my items.

And finally, at 8:00 PM, with the promise of girl scout cookies on the other side, I did a 30 minute Nike Training Club workout from the NTC app. It's a huge step for me to continue with the crosstraining. Throughout marathon training it was always the first thing to go, and it usually went every weekend. Oh well. I know how important it is, so I'm making it more of a priority!

Don't forget to start keeping track of your points for the Spring Bootie Buster Challenge! And if you haven't signed up yet, do it! It starts today!

Did you have a low key weekend or did you do a lot? Did you have a date night or date morning?

I'm linking up with Leeann and Molly!

I love First Watch! Andy doesn't eat breakfast so we don't do morning dates, though he occasionally makes me breakfast. I will meet my brother and his family for breakfast and that's just as fun! I'm going to have to check out that Nike app!

I want breakfast now after these photos.

I have to run my dryer twice sometimes. It's a pain in the butt.

Stopping by from both linkups!

I did three loads this weekend too!
Make sure the big white hose is attached fully to the back. Also, that there is not any lint trapped inside the dryer catchall that doesn't cling to the net thing that you have to clean. Yummy breakfasts this weekend :)

I had an incredibly low-key and lazy weekend; which is probably why I feel so lethargic today. I always have more energy when I actually do stuff on Sundays. That skillet looks really good!

Yesterday, I too finally dug myself out from a mountain of laundry. I don't have too many workout clothes in there because I'm gross and run in the same thing for about a week before I change it. I just hang dry all my running stuff and that takes awhile in the moist climate here.

Breakfast dates are the best:) Mike and I try to squeeze them in on Saturday mornings, before he goes to work and I go work out. Sounds like a great weekend!
